Four Seasons Fly Fishers   Heber City, Utah

June 2005, and this is the first look at the Green River

in Wyoming, and it'll make your heart beat faster,

and start you digging streamers out of your fishing vest.

This is big water in June, and the drift boat moves fast,

so you need to be ready to cast quickly, and to both

sides of the boat, in order to cover all of the good spots.

Another fisherman, The Bald Eagle, watches as we drift

through its territory. Probably waiting for us to leave

so it can get back searching the waters for its next meal.

This beautiful Rainbow was caught and released, using

a streamer swung through the tail end of a seam formed

at the bottom end of one of the many islands on the Green.

You want Hatch? The Green can handle that for you,

as can seen by this swarm that came out midafternoon.

This nice Brown took a big yellow streamer, that was

trailed behind an even larger black bugger. Two streamers,

fast water, lots of casts, sore arm, now that's fun!
